Roholoff was a noted southern California craftsman and furniture designer whose work was shown at the prestigious Pasadena Museum of Art, California Design exhibitions. In addition, his work was exhibited at LACMA, Worcester Art Museum and the Museum of Contemporary Crafts, New York. Commissions include architectural elements for the Humble Oil Building in Houston (by Welton Becket) and Lytton Savings in Los Angeles. He received a B.A. in furniture from the University of Connecticut.
