1950s blue fiberglass “Elephant” stool by Japanese designer, Sori Yanagi. Designed in 1954 and produced in Japan by Kotobuki. Retains the original Yanagi Design foil label.

Sori Yanagi was a pioneer of post-war Japanese industrial design. The elephant stool is included in the design collection at NY MoMA.
